The Kastoria is an old Greek social club in Coburg North. But the Greeks don’t use it anymore, except for Bingo on a Tuesday, leaving a decked out top floor with tables and chairs and a kitchen for someone to come in and start a members music club for the music lovers living in the North, and everywhere for that matter.

Situated off Bell St in Coburg, at the top end of Elizabeth St, 219 to be exact. It’s an upstairs venue that seats 65 with standing room for an extra 30, or 40 or even 50  – comfortable and cosy with a dance floor for the dancers. We’ve installed our own PA and it sounds gorgeous. The bar is simple with a supply of small range of local beers, wine and some hip cocktails. There will be Greek platters of food available to share…

The Kastoria Music Club will be open every Friday night with some Saturday nights booked for good measure … Opening hours are 7pm to Midnight and the band will play from 8.30pm and 11pm SHARP . We can also host private party’s on Saturdays and Sundays . And for our re-opening on March 8th 2019 we have plans to extent our opening days ..

The Bar owner/booker/bartender/door bitch/web mistress/curtain maker has a deep love of roots, rhythm and blues, jazz, country,pop, world and silly ol’ folk music… What she likes, she will book and they will come and it will will Rock and Sway !
